We normally reply within two to three business days. When reporting a problem, it helps if you include your iOS and macOS versions, your device model, the AI tool involved, and the steps that reproduce it.

Getting started

Can I use it with just my iPhone?

The Mac app is required to show usage. AINOKORI works by having your Mac read the records your AI coding tools leave behind, then delivering them to your iPhone through your own iCloud. Until you set up the Mac app, you can use “View sample data” in the app to see a preview shaped just like the real thing.

Where can I get the Mac app?

The Mac app will be available from the app page once AINOKORI is live on the App Store — it isn’t available for download yet. It isn’t distributed through the Mac App Store, because it needs to read files placed directly in your home folder.

Do my Mac and iPhone need the same Apple ID?

Yes. Data travels through your own private iCloud database. If your Mac and iPhone are signed in with different Apple IDs, the data won’t reach your iPhone.

What happens while my Mac is closed?

The last value received stays on screen, along with its “last updated” time. Values are never cleared or reset to zero. After 10 minutes the display is marked “stale,” and after 30 minutes it shows “Mac offline.”

About the display

What’s the big number?

It’s the remaining capacity — the percentage you have left. Switch it to “usage rate” from “Display > Number” in Settings to show the percentage used instead. The widget and Apple Watch follow the same setting.

Why does it show “estimated”?

For some tools, we can see how much you’ve used but the limit itself isn’t published. In that case, AINOKORI estimates the limit — from the highest amount you’ve used so far, for example — to calculate a percentage. Any value based on an estimate is always labeled “estimated.” Choosing your plan in the Mac app’s settings can bring the estimate closer to the real value.

It shows “limit unknown” and no percentage

Not enough records have built up yet to estimate a limit. We think it’s more accurate to show “unknown” than to guess at a percentage. It should appear after you’ve used the tool for a while.

GitHub Copilot shows no numbers

GitHub Copilot doesn’t save its usage locally on the Mac, so the current version can’t read it. Because AINOKORI’s policy is never to connect to outside services, it honestly shows this state as “not available yet.”

The reset time shows “unknown”

For some windows, the reset time simply isn’t in the local records (Claude Code’s weekly window, for example). When it’s unknown, AINOKORI never shows a plausible-looking time in its place.

Notifications

When do notifications arrive?

When your remaining capacity drops below the percentage you’ve set, and when a usage window resets. You won’t get repeat notifications for the same window — the next one waits until your capacity has recovered. Resets for windows you don’t use aren’t notified.

I’m not using my Mac, and notifications aren’t coming

Notifications are evaluated when a new value arrives from your Mac. While your Mac isn’t running, no new values arrive, so no notifications fire either.

About AINOKORI Pro

What does Pro unlock?

You can look back up to 90 days of history (7 days on the free plan). Pro adds usage-trend and average-pace statistics, a count of how often you’ve hit the limit, a forecast of when you’ll hit it at your current pace, a choice of notification threshold from 50, 30, 20, or 10%, a once-a-day report, and a suggestion for which AI to use next. ¥480 / month or ¥4,800 / year.

How much can I do for free?

The free plan includes remaining capacity for each service (GitHub Copilot shows detection status only) and reset times, connecting to your Mac, the widget, Apple Watch, 7 days of history, notifications for low capacity (20%) and resets, light and dark appearance, switching which number is shown, and reordering the services.

If I cancel Pro, is my history deleted?

No. The visible range just returns to 7 days — the records themselves stay intact. If you go back to Pro, the records from in between are right there again.

I purchased Pro but it’s not active

Try “Restore Purchase” in the app. You need to be signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to purchase. If it still doesn’t activate, please contact us at the address above.

I want to cancel my subscription

Cancellation is handled by the App Store. Open Settings > your name > Subscriptions, select AINOKORI, and choose “Cancel Subscription.” “Manage Subscription” in the app opens the same screen.

After cancelling, Pro features remain available until the period you have already paid for ends. There is no pro-rated refund.

I want to check my renewal date

Under Settings > your name > Subscriptions above, you can see the next renewal date and amount. Auto-renewal continues unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

I would like a refund

Payment is handled by Apple, and refund decisions are Apple’s to make. Please apply at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to process refunds ourselves.

Privacy

Are my conversations or code read?

No. The Mac app reads only usage records — the text of conversations, code, credentials, project names, and paths can’t be picked up at all, by design. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Is my data sent to your servers?

We have no servers. The handoff from your Mac to your iPhone runs only through your own private iCloud database.

Requirements

iPhone: iOS 18.0 or later. Apple Watch: watchOS 10.0 or later. Mac: macOS 14.0 or later (Apple Silicon or Intel). iPad is not supported. The app is available in Japanese and English.
