AI Noritsugi ("the App") is provided by TempuraApps ("we"). This policy explains how the App handles user information.

1. Information we collect

The App does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Everything you enter or save — the body text of your handoff notes, their titles and tags, and the records of where they came from and where you sent them — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to or held on servers operated by us or by third parties. The only exceptions are the usage measurement described in section 4 and the Pro purchase processing described in section 5, which send a limited set of information to external services. Neither includes your name nor the content you enter or save, and neither can identify you personally.

2. Relationship to AI services

The App never sends your text to AI services such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. It has no chat feature and does not call these services' APIs, so you are not required to register an API key. "Pass to AI" simply copies the text to your device clipboard and opens the app or website you chose (see section 7). Whether you actually paste it is left to you, and any text you paste is then handled under that service's own privacy policy. If you add a custom "source" yourself, the App may open the link you registered there.

3. About the keyboard extension

The App includes a keyboard extension for inserting your saved text into other apps' input fields. This keyboard does not communicate with external servers at all.

Recalling saved text from the keyboard requires iOS "Full Access". Full Access is used solely to read the list of saved text that the App has written on your device; it is never used to transmit anything you type. If you do not grant Full Access, ordinary text entry still works normally.

To improve Japanese input conversion accuracy, the keyboard also stores conversion learning data on your device. This learning data is kept only in the keyboard extension's own storage, is never transmitted externally, and cannot be read by the main App. It is erased from your device when you delete the App.

4. Usage analytics (PostHog)

To improve quality and features, the App measures anonymous usage with the analytics service "PostHog". What we collect is limited to the type of action taken — app launches, feature usage, opening the paid plan screen, purchasing a paid plan (monthly or annual, and whether it went through), restoring a purchase — together with statistical information such as counts and categories. We do not send personal information such as your name or email address, nor the content you enter or save (the body text of your notes, titles, tags, search terms, and so on).

Technical information that PostHog attaches automatically may also be included: the app version, the operating system type and version, the device class, and the app's display language. Your time zone is stripped before transmission because it can suggest your approximate region. IP addresses are configured to be discarded on the analytics side, and we have specified that no region or location be inferred from them. Finer locations such as your city or your coordinates are never collected. None of this is intended to identify a specific individual, and none of it is linked to an account. Data is stored in the EU region.

The keyboard extension and the share extension contain no analytics code. Measurement takes place only in the main App.

Each record sent carries an anonymous identifier created for that installation of the App. It exists so that actions from the same installation can be read as one thread. It is not tied to your name, email address, account, or any hardware identifier provided by the device, and we do not use it to identify you. Deleting and reinstalling the App produces a new one.

We have no way to connect that identifier to you as a person. For that reason we cannot act on requests to retrieve or delete one user's data individually. If you wish to stop measurement entirely, please delete the App; nothing is sent after deletion.

The App does not serve advertising and does not perform advertising tracking (IDFA or similar). We do not use the collected information for advertising purposes, and we do not provide or sell it to third parties.

5. Billing and purchase information (RevenueCat)

Purchases and restorations of the App's paid features (AI Noritsugi Pro) are made through Apple's App Store, and we use the billing platform "RevenueCat" to manage purchase and subscription status. As a result, information such as your entitlement status is processed by RevenueCat. Payment details such as credit card numbers are handled by Apple and are never received by us. Purchases are managed under an anonymous identifier and are not linked to personal information such as your name or email address. RevenueCat is a service provided by a company based in the United States.

6. Share extension (importing from other apps)

When you send text to the App from another app's share menu, that content is recorded in the App's storage. The share extension does not communicate with external servers; it only saves what it receives onto your device.

7. Use of the clipboard

The "Pass to AI" action copies the selected text to your device clipboard. This copy is limited to the same device (it is not synced to your other devices) and expires automatically after a period of time. Because the clipboard is an area other apps can also read, please overwrite its contents when you no longer need them.

8. Data backup

The App can export your saved data as a file (in JSON format). Exported files are placed in a location you choose and are under your control. We do not access them.

9. Provision to third parties

We do not provide or sell your information to third parties for advertising purposes. Information sent to external services (PostHog and RevenueCat) for the measurement and purchase processing described in sections 4 and 5 is processed under each service's own privacy policy.

10. Deleting your data

Data stored on your device can be erased using the App's delete features, or by deleting the App itself. Deleting the App also erases your saved text and the keyboard's conversion learning data.

11. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as features are added or changed. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
