Frequently asked questions
The keyboard cannot bring up my saved text
iOS requires Full Access for this. Open Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > AI Noritsugi and turn on "Allow Full Access". Full Access is used to read the list of saved text the app writes on your device, and for on-device touches like haptic feedback on key taps, theme syncing, and remembering the one-handed keyboard position. Nothing you type is ever sent anywhere.
Does my saved text sync between devices?
No. All data is stored only on your device. To move it to a new device, use the export feature to save a JSON file and import it on the new device. Note that the AI services you added yourself (their display name and link) are not included in the export, so you will need to add them again on the new device. Which service each saved text was written for is preserved.
Does the app send my text to AI services?
No. The app has no chat feature and never calls the ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini APIs. "Pass to AI" only copies the text to your device clipboard and opens the app or website you chose — whether you actually paste it is entirely up to you.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Your saved text and the keyboard's Japanese input learning data are both removed. You can export your saved text to a file before deleting the app; the learning data lives only inside the keyboard and cannot be exported. The AI services you added yourself are not included in the export either.
About AI Noritsugi Pro
What does Pro unlock?
The limits on contexts and favorites are removed, and you gain organization by tag, the ability to add AI services of your own beyond the four built in, and the alternate themes.
Without Pro you can still keep 5 contexts and 3 favorites (the same limits apply when you save from the share sheet). Tags already attached remain usable for display and filtering. Passing a context to the next AI, inserting from the keyboard, JSON export and import, and the four built-in AI services have no limits. Reaching a limit never takes away what you have already saved.
I purchased Pro but it is not active
Try "Restore purchases" in the app. You need to be signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to purchase. If it still does not activate, please contact us.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation is handled by the App Store. Open Settings > your name > Subscriptions, select AI Noritsugi, and choose "Cancel Subscription". The "Manage subscription" link in the app opens the same screen.
After cancelling you keep Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for. Partial refunds are not issued.
How do I check my renewal date?
The same Settings > your name > Subscriptions screen shows your next renewal date and amount. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
I would like a refund
Payments are handled by Apple, and refund decisions are Apple's to make. Please file a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to process refunds ourselves.
