Split the chores.
Run them by time.

Split the chores ahead with your family or partner and lay them out day by day. When the day comes, run each one with a stopwatch. How long it actually took gets recorded, and the next estimate gets a little closer to reality. There are no scores or rankings to compete over. No account, no ads — everything stays on your device.

iOS 18.0 or later / iPhone

Tools for sharing the load and running it by time

  • Add members

Register each person with a name and a color, and you can start assigning chores — no account, no invite link needed. The free plan covers 2 people; Pro opens up to 6. Archive someone and their past records stay under their name.

  • Add your chores

Give a chore a name, an estimate, and the days it repeats, and it’s ready to schedule again every week with the same setup. Eight common chores are ready to pick from, so you can start without typing anything. The free plan covers 15 in total; Pro lets you add as many as you like.

  • Plan ahead on the calendar

See the whole month at a glance — days you’ve already done and days coming up, with each person’s color dot showing whose chore is whose. Tap a day and its chores and records appear below, ready to assign and estimate up to three months (91 days) ahead. Chores that repeat on set days are generated automatically that far ahead.

  • Today

Today’s chores show up in one list, with the total estimated time and each person’s share at a glance. Anything carried over from yesterday shows up here too, so you never have to go looking for it.

  • Timer

Start a chore and a large timer fills the screen — nothing else on it. Close the app partway through and reopening it brings back the running screen with the elapsed time intact.

  • Records that teach the estimate

When you’re done, one tap on “Record” is all it takes. Add a note if the time ran differently than planned, and as real times build up over the last three runs, the next estimate edges closer to how long it actually takes. If you mistyped the time, you can fix it later.

  • History

Look back at each week — planned versus actual, broken down by person. The free plan keeps the last 30 days; Pro keeps everything.

  • Notifications

A morning notification gives the count and total time for today’s chores — nothing more. No notification arrives on a day with nothing to say. Change the time or turn it off whenever you like.

Adding up to 6 members, creating as many chores as you like, looking back through your full history, switching to Dark or Automatic appearance, and exporting or importing your data as JSON are all available with Kajidori Pro. The free plan already covers 2 members, 15 chores, the last 30 days of history, scheduling and repeats up to three months ahead, the timer, and notifications. See Support for details.

Your chores stay on your device

Members, chores, schedules, completed records, and notes are all stored in a single file on your device and are never sent anywhere. We run anonymous usage measurement to improve the app, but what it records is things like the type of action taken, counts such as how many people, chores, or minutes, and which option was chosen — never chore names, notes, or member names. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
