Pitawari

Split it,
to the last unit.

“These three shared the platter, those two had the wine.” Assign each line item to the people who actually had it, and a bill that never splits evenly lands exactly. Leftovers go to whoever paid the most, and settling up is grouped into fewer transfers. Your records stay on your device.

Four app screens. 1. The settle-up screen — “Who owes whom. Transfers grouped into fewer payments.” 2. The settlement report — “Split by item, not just evenly. This dish for three, that drink for two.” 3. An event’s detail — “Track what you covered. Add each advance as you go.” 4. The event list — “Dinners, trips, anything. One list, always up to date.”

Six tools for splitting it exactly

  • Split by line item

Break a bill into items and pick who covers each one: everyone, just a few, or one person. Tables where people ate and drank differently still work out on the first try.

  • The total does the math

Type “1200+800” or “3600/3” straight into a bill's total. No jumping to a calculator while you read down the receipt.

  • The remainder goes to whoever paid

By default it splits down to the smallest unit of the currency and gives whatever won't divide to whoever fronted the most. In Japanese yen you can round up or to the nearest hundred instead. Six currencies are supported, so it works abroad too.

  • Fewer transfers

Everyone's balances are netted out into a shorter list of who pays whom. Once settled, it stays on the ledger.

  • Save the usual crowd

Keep the people you settle up with most often as a group, and reuse it instead of retyping names for every new event.

  • Send the result as it is

From the settlement report, export the result as an image or plain text and paste it into a chat. It reads fine even if nobody else has the app. Exporting is a Pro feature.

Free covers 5 events, 1 member group, and 5 uses of "Mark all as settled" in total. Pro removes those limits and adds the full settlement report and its export, appearance switching (dark and automatic), and JSON backup.

Your split stays on your iPhone

Events, member names, amounts, and settlement records are stored only on your device. No account is required, and none of it is collected on our servers. We measure anonymous usage to help improve the app, but never member names or the amounts themselves. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Stop leaving “we'll settle later” for later.
