AsaLog
Five seconds each morning.
Log how well you woke up.
Just pick one of five faces when you wake up. As it builds, patterns by weekday and reason start to surface, and laying last night’s sleep over it shows the gap between how you felt and what was measured. Your records stay on your iPhone. No account, no ads.
iOS 18.0 or later / iPhone
Four app screens. 1. Log: “Five seconds a morning. Just pick a face — Reasons and notes, only when you feel like it.” 2. Calendar: “A month of mornings, kept in the calendar — Tap a date to see that day’s log.” 3. Charts: “Last night’s sleep, laid side by side — See the gap between feeling and measurement.” 4. Charts: “By weekday and reason, the pattern surfaces — The conditions that suit your mornings show up.”
Six tools for keeping your mornings
-
Pick a face
Choose how refreshed you feel out of five, and tap. Reason chips and the note are there when you want them, and you can save with both empty. Two taps is a full day’s entry.
-
A month at a glance
Faces line up day by day, so the shape of the month is immediate. Tap a date and that day’s score, reasons, note and sleep appear below.
-
Look back on the trend
See the week and the month as a line. Days you did not log break the line, so the chart never claims a trend for a stretch you did not observe.
-
Compare with last night’s sleep
Connect Apple Health and the previous night’s sleep is read and laid over the trend. You can check whether “the longer I sleep, the better” actually holds for you. Read-only; nothing is written back.
-
Slice by weekday and reason
Which day of the week you wake up most refreshed, and which reasons come up most. It does more than average: when there is too little logged, it says so instead.
-
Fill in later
Missed a day? Open it from the calendar and add it after the fact. One entry per day, replacing the last, so the same date never doubles up. There is no limit on how many days you can log.
A year of your trend, adding sleep to past logs in bulk, color themes, app icons, and exporting your logs are available with AsaLog Pro. See Support for details.
Your logs stay on your device
Your refreshed scores, the reasons you pick, your notes, and the sleep figures read from Apple Health are stored only on your device. Nothing syncs to another device and nothing is sent to our servers. The only external communication is purchase processing and anonymous usage measurement (app launches, opening the paid plan screen, and the result of a purchase or restore). See the Privacy Policy for details.
Tomorrow morning, leave one behind.
